Delivering protection from errant sparks and heat Nomex hoods are an essential in steel, aluminum glass, forestry and other industries requiring spark protection. The white hood is made of a knitted Nomex/Lenzing blend with a double layer on the hood and a double layer on the bib. Nomex provides good heat and flame resistance with soft comfort and excellent absorbency. Material is UL Certified NFPA 1971.
